Illustrative estimate of manual naming and filing time removed. Reviewing proposed output still takes some time, and results vary.

It is roughly twenty thousand dollars, and you pay it once.

Fifteen for the license, about four to five for the hardware. It is not financed and there is no payment plan. That is a real number for a small firm, so here is the honest accounting of it.

Why there is no payment plan

We are a small shop. Offering terms would mean carrying the financing cost and raising the price to cover it. We would rather quote the real number than a larger one spread out. If the timing is wrong, say so on the call and we will tell you when to revisit.

What the money buys

Hardware you own and software licensed to you permanently. If we stopped answering the phone tomorrow, the appliance keeps running on your network, your files stay where they are, and nothing expires. That is the part a subscription cannot offer at any price.

When it pays for itself

Against a six person firm on a per seat subscription at ninety nine a month, the five year comparison is $35,640 against a one time purchase. On labor alone the calculator above puts the payback in months, not years. Run it with your own numbers rather than ours.

You have been oversold before. So check us before you pay.

Every attorney we talk to has been promised something by a large vendor that did not survive contact with a real case. We cannot argue our way out of that, so we would rather be checkable than convincing.

Ask what it does badly. We will answer. Good-law checking is the first thing we will tell you it does not do, and we built the interface so it cannot imply otherwise.
Bring a deidentified folder to the call and watch it run on your own material, not our sample. If it does not handle your documents, you will know before you spend anything.
Every number on this site is sourced on the page it appears. The OCR rate, the labor model, the subscription comparison. Where a figure is an estimate, it says so.
A founder answers the phone, every day from 8am to 8pm. Not a sales team, not a scheduler. If your practice is not a fit we will say so on the first call.

How much does the hardware cost?

The system is designed for the NVIDIA DGX Spark (4 TB). Equipment cost fluctuates by seller and has recently ranged from about $3,999 to $4,700. DilloLex does not set hardware pricing; the client purchases the hardware separately.

Does DilloLex pay for itself?

A conservative BLS-wage model for a small Nevada firm (10 matters/month) estimates roughly $1,363 per month in direct labor cost offset across four mechanical tasks. At a hardware cost ceiling of $4,700, that is a payback period of about 3.5 months on hardware alone. The $15,000 license extends total payback, so run it against your own volume.

What happens if DilloLex stops?

The appliance keeps working. The version installed that day keeps running, fully offline, with no license check and no call home required to function.

Is there a payment plan?

Ask on the call. It is a capital purchase and most firms treat it that way, but the structure is negotiable.
