DilloLex · Storage · Nevada

Your files stay in your storage. The finished work shows up where the file already lives.

You stop downloading from a portal and dropping files into the matter folder by hand. The drafts, the stamped sets and the trial package land in the folder you already use, as new files for review.

What DilloLex does

  1. Reads the folder you already have. The appliance sits on the firm’s own network and reads the case files in the folders the firm points it at.
  2. Works on your hardware. The AI runs on the appliance. Client documents are not sent to a cloud AI service.
  3. Writes new files, never over the old. Every original is kept as received, byte for byte. A redacted record or a stamped production is a copy with its own name, next to the untouched original.
  4. Files into your folder set. Each document is named for its date and what it is and filed into the firm’s standard folder set. A stamped production arrives with its index.
  5. Waits for approval. The attorney or supervising staff member reviews what was proposed. If nothing is approved, nothing changes.
  6. Logs it. Every action on a matter is recorded in a tamper-evident log, so the firm can see what was produced, when and by whom.

What the firm keeps control of

Folders, sharing permissions and structure stay exactly as the firm has them today. DilloLex does not restructure folders, rename your existing files or change permissions. The attorney moves new work, renames it or discards it, and the originals stay as they were.

Exhibit binders, appendix volumes with their indexes and the rest of the trial package land in the matter folder the same way, as new files for your review.

Common questions

Does DilloLex change the firm’s existing folder structure?

No. DilloLex reads the folders the firm points it at. It files new work into your firm’s standard folder set. It does not rename your existing files or change sharing permissions.

Can a produced or redacted document overwrite the original?

No. DilloLex keeps every original as received, byte for byte. A stamped production, a redacted record or any other processed file is written to a copy with its own name.

Who approves what DilloLex produces?

The supervising attorney. DilloLex proposes; a person reviews and approves. Every action on a matter is recorded in a tamper-evident log.

Does client content go to an outside AI when DilloLex reads from cloud storage?

No. The AI runs on the appliance in your office, and client documents are not sent to a cloud AI service. The appliance reaches the cloud storage the firm has chosen and connected. That is the firm’s existing relationship with its storage provider; DilloLex adds no outside AI service to it.

Does DilloLex file anything with the court?

No. DilloLex does not interact with courts or filing systems. Filing stays with your office.
